GUIDELINES
This contest is open to all original, unpublished novels with a word count between 50K and 80K. The entry must be the legal personal property of the author and the author must hold all Rights to Publication. All entries must be submitted as Microsoft Word documents (.doc) double spaced, 12 point, Times New Roman font, 1” margins on all sides. Book Title centered on each page, all page numbers top right corner.
Please edit your work and use a spell-checker, ensure each page is correctly numbered and DO NOT put your name anywhere on your submission. Use the Official Entry form to identify your submission by title. OP feels strongly about blind entries and must ensure that authors remain anonymous until the contest is concluded and the winners announced.
Omega Publications may, at its sole discretion, refuse to consider material it deems as erotic, vulgar or inspiring/inciting hatred toward others. OP may reclassify an entry into a different genre.
Novels presently submitted to Agents are eligible for entry in this contest. If a submitted entry is accepted for publication elsewhere, please notify Omega Publications to withdraw your submission from consideration. Entry fee is not refundable.

5. Fee(s) must be received by check, money order, or through PayPal before entry is presented to the judges. International entries must use PayPal.

Contest opens Jan 1, 2010 and closes March 31, 2010
and the winner will be announced on June 30, 2010.
The contest is limited to 300 entries, so we encourage you to submit your entry as soon as possible.
7. Judges' decisions are final.
8. Author must be at least 18 years of age at time of submission.
Each Winner agrees to furnish OP with a clear photograph holding the winning trophy. Omega Publications will send a press release to each Winner's local newspaper and will carry an article regarding each Winner on the OP website, photos included.

If I am a winner, I extend to Omega Publications non-exclusive rights to publish and promote my book, and to display my name and photograph on their web site and in other forms of advertising.
Author retains all rights of ownership to his submission.
I understand that all publishing contracts with Omega Publications are covered by their standard publishing agreement which is available for review on the Omega Publications web site and I agree to abide by the conditions of that agreement.
I understand that Omega Publications will not publish anything it deems erotic or that may incite hatred or violence against others based on religion, ethnicity, national origin or sexual orientation .
